‘Small size; great atmosphere’.
Find the historic site of the Doopsgezinde Kerk (‘Mennonite Church’) at the centre of Haarlem. You may have to search for a while, but when you find, you can’t ignore it.
Built in 1683 in the typical Dutch neo-classical style, this church is still as modest and yet strikingly beautiful as it was three centuries ago. Therefore the Mennonite Church is a one-of-a-kind location for meetings, conferences, or just a business lunch.
Once inside, you’ll see exactly how unique. Atmospheric and intimate, but grand at the same time, is the best description of this church. That’s partly because of the balcony, the impressive lighting at the centre of the hall and the tasteful neoclassic-modern interior. Moreover, the church is renowned for its excellent acoustics. Surrounding noises can hardly be heard inside, which is quite an advantage to that important conference or symposium. Next to the main hall, there are several style rooms and a large library which are also available. Enough to offer the guests of your meeting or reading a very special experience.
